Hello and welcome to Paloma and Bianca – Jewelry from the Heartland !! I’m so glad you’re here !!
I’m a suburban Indiana mom by way of New Jersey. Through the years, I have become very passionate about the environment and preserving nature. I also love gardening, wildlife, and vintage anything.
Pieces with history speak to me. Further, reusing vintage items or up-cycling them is much more environmentally friendly than purchasing a new item. I try to use as many reclaimed items as I can, even in my handmade pieces. New findings, for example, I likely obtained second-hand from someone who no longer needed them and therefore I have diverted it from the waste stream. How satisfying !!!
